The newsletter also includes information about Jens Ellegaard receiving PwC’s “Family Business Award 2016” in the Zealand region of Denmark, and we are very pleased to announce that the Scientific Board of Ellegaard Göttingen Minipigs Research Foundation has granted a total of EUR 100,000.00 to Prof. Dr. Steven Van Cruchten and his research team from the University of Antwerp to support the project: “Construction and activity of recombinant cytochrome P450 enzymes as an in vitro system for reaction‐phenotyping of drug candidates in the Göttingen Minipig”. Furthermore, the newsletter contains information about the scientific publications on the Göttingen Minipig as well as two new posters, a meeting calendar for 2017 and an update from North America and Japan.
